update day, now with bonus cookies!

 Fun fact: both of these cereals have changed their names since I originally reviewed them.


So I try not to make an update post until I have at least two new pictures, which is the case today.

1. Frosted Mini-Wheats--Strawberry: so this one's from waaay back. It's not even really a full review. And it had a different name. But the flavor hasn't changed, so I added it.

2. Kashi Organic Blueberry Clusters: in this case, the name's been streamlined, but I'm pretty sure it's the same cereal. And I think I have kept my promise to try more types of cereals.

Bonus: here's a picture of some oatmeal cookies. The basic under-the-Quaker-lid recipe, with raisins and Craisins.

fun on a bun...

Technically, the bun is optional but I just have to recommend these Spice-Rubbed Chicken Breasts.  I thought it sounded like a different kind of chicken sandwich for me and I'd never made a rub before. I have plenty of recipes but none which triggered an immediate response of, "I must try this." Also, I'd never purchased cumin before. It smells like the primary ingredient in a packet of taco seasoning, so you can see why it would need to be balanced out with brown sugar. Actually, all of the spices work well together, even the little tang of thyme. I think I'll be trying it on salmon next.
