review: *new* Cinnamon Sugar Krispies

 Always bet on cinnamon.

Anyone else noticing a theme with these cinnamon-forward cereals? Do the cereal manufacturers know when this is coming? Anyway, not a complaint. You know if it's cinnamon, I'm there for it.

So, Cinnamon Sugar Krispies. It had a familiar cinnamon scent but upon further inspection, it was definitely mixed with sugar because the individual puffed rice pieces had more of a glaze effect rather than a dusting of cinnamon. The taste was not far off from Special K Brown Sugar Cinnamon but sweeter. I wouldn't eat a whole bowl of this but it'll make a nice topper.

Most important: the milk pour. If it doesn't snap, crackle and pop, it's not Rice Krispies. Yes, this one passed the test 😉

Technically, the bun is optional but I just have to recommend these Spice-Rubbed Chicken Breasts.  I thought it sounded like a different kind of chicken sandwich for me and I'd never made a rub before. I have plenty of recipes but none which triggered an immediate response of, "I must try this." Also, I'd never purchased cumin before. It smells like the primary ingredient in a packet of taco seasoning, so you can see why it would need to be balanced out with brown sugar. Actually, all of the spices work well together, even the little tang of thyme. I think I'll be trying it on salmon next.
